GNAR

Privacy Policy

Last updated September 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information GNAR (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, how we use it, and who we share it with.

1. Information we collect

Account information: when you sign up, we collect your shop name and your email address.

Payment information: subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — Stripe handles that directly.

Your customers’ information: if you use the Service to run your repair shop, you’ll enter information about your own customers — names, emails, phone numbers, and instrument details. We store this on your behalf as part of operating the Service for you; it belongs to you, not to us.

Technical information: we use a signed session cookie to keep you logged in. We don’t use third-party advertising trackers.

2. How we use it

  • To operate the Service — your ticket board, quotes, timers, and reports
  • To send transactional emails on your behalf (quote approvals, pickup-ready notices) to your customers
  • To process your subscription and communicate with you about your account
  • To provide support when you contact us

We don’t sell your data or your customers’ data to anyone.

3. Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run GNAR, each only for the purpose named:

  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing
  • Resend — sending transactional email (quotes, pickup notices, account emails)
  • Vercel — application hosting
  • Supabase — database hosting

We don’t share your information with anyone else except where required by law.

4. Data retention & deletion

We keep your account and data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel and want your data deleted, contact us and we’ll delete it, subject to any records we’re required to keep for legal or tax reasons.

5. Security

Login PINs are stored hashed, never in plain text. Each shop’s data is isolated from every other shop’s at the application level. All traffic to the Service is encrypted (HTTPS).

6. Children’s privacy

GNAR is a business tool for repair shops and isn’t directed at children.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us — see below.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post the updated version here with a new “last updated” date.
